School Security Professional
$18 - $21.5 per hourAcademy Charter School
The Academy Charter School ("The Academy") offers an exceptional interdisciplinary curriculum in a technology rich environment that challenges students to explore connections across subjects and use experiential learning to bridge the gaps between theory and practice.
The Academy Charter School Security Guard Protects school property and insures safety of pupils and staff by providing adult supervision inside and outside of the school.
Patrol hallways, main entrances and recreation areas and occasionally provides supervision as needed
Provide supervision for bus areas during arrival and dismissal times
Check the functioning of security system
Check first floor restrooms
Control building access and respond to alarms
Pay Transparency: The hourly range for this role is $18.00/hr.- $ All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment and will not be discriminated against on the basis of any characteristic protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
High School Diploma required
NYS Security Guard License required
Previous security guard experience, preferably in an school environment
