Balazs Nanoanalysis is a contract analytical laboratory owned by Air Liquide Electronics. We serve both internal and external clients in semiconductor, biotechnology, aerospace, solar, energy storage and automotive industries. Our chemists partner with scientists and engineers to support quality assurance, contamination studies, R&D and failure analysis.

Partnering with customers through comprehensive communication

Collaborating with internal and external customers on laboratory concerns or data reporting

Facilitating laboratory operation and upholding success of job functions

Championing and practicing safe laboratory and chemical handling protocols

Presenting data and project results to customers

Identifying and sourcing laboratory equipment and reagents

Collaborating with the Site Manager on laboratory operations via reports and meetings

Serving as the Chemical Hygiene Officer for the laboratory and supporting employees in understanding methods to protect themselves from chemical hazards

Trend data and investigate data trends

Using analytical and solution‑finding skills to address customer needs related to chemicals and contamination in customers’ manufacturing processes

Developing studies for special analytical projects to satisfy customer needs

Carrying out team‑oriented and self‑directed research projects

Writing, editing and reviewing SOPs

Contributing to continuous improvement efforts within the laboratory

Identifying the most effective reagents and lab supplies for various specific measurements

Writing multi‑technique and inter‑lab reports that connect all results together

Performing the majority of analyses pertaining to a particular lab; providing full QC and review of these techniques

Taking a proactive role in upholding safe activities within the lab in alignment with company policies and local and federal regulations

Welcoming external auditor questions and performing analysis demonstrations for auditors

Guiding routine operations

Providing quotes for both routine and non‑routine analyses and fully engaging with the customer

Partnering in the development of new analytical methods to improve the products and services provided to customers

Maintaining and adapting instruments to meet research goals

Aligning with the established Quality System and sharing quality deficiencies for improvement

Upholding accuracy and consistency of data

Upholding proper data entry of analysis results

Maintaining current procedures related to Laboratory Operations via Maximo

Performing sampling at client’s facility as assigned and completing all other assignments as required

Providing technical expertise and mentorship for chemists, laboratory technicians, and service technicians

Taking ownership of evaluation, interpretation, and verification of analytical data

Reporting quality deficiencies for team resolution in line with the Quality System

Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or similar Science discipline with 3+ years experience OR Master’s degree in Chemistry or Similar Science with 2+ years experience

Proficient in computer skills such as LIMS and the Google platform

Work safely at all times and ensure a safety culture and a safe working environment in the laboratory

Experience in the semiconductor industry

Experience in the industrial gas industry
