Job Description Estimator / Preconstruction Specialist
Build Winning Projects Before Construction Begins
We are looking for a detail-oriented Estimator who enjoys solving complex problems, building accurate bids, and helping win quality construction projects. Review plans, specifications, and contract documents
Develop complete and competitive project bids
Analyze project risks and identify cost-saving opportunities
Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal trade experts
Attend pre-bid meetings and job site visits when required
Support project turnover and preconstruction planning
Participate in post-project reviews to continuously improve estimating accuracy
Build and maintain strong relationships with general contractors, construction managers, and owners
Experience estimating commercial or industrial construction projects
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and estimating software
Thrive in a structured, deadline-driven environment
Make decisions based on facts and data

~ Commercial or industrial construction estimating
Mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, piping, or related construction experience is a plus
Knowledge of construction contracts and project delivery methods
Experience with digital takeoff and estimating software preferred
