The posted compensation range of $25.00 - $32.08/hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting. As our CNA Patient Care Assistant, you will be a central figure on our patient care team, providing direct, compassionate, hands-on support to patients and assisting nurses and other healthcare professionals. Every day, you will expertly perform basic patient care duties like taking vital signs, assisting with ADLs, monitoring and documenting patient intake/output, and collecting specimens. You will also maintain patient rooms, transport patients and equipment, and promptly report changes in patient condition to nursing staff, adhering strictly to safety protocols and infection control. You will demonstrate a proactive commitment to patient well-being, a supportive demeanor, and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced clinical environment, delivering compassionate care.
Provides direct patient care under the supervision of a licensed nurse within the scope of practice of a nursing assistant. Vital signs, Ambulation, ADLs, Routine treatment procedures as defined by hospital policy/procedure/routines
Demonstrates clinical/technical expertise in general nursing skills. Documents patient care measures according to patient care standards, policies, and procedures. Provides for the safe care of patient valuables during these processes. Appropriately utilizes equipment and supplies (including following established policies, procedures, and protocols governing the transport, handling, and storage of intravenous fluids) in the care of the patient
Certified Nursing Assistant (CA. CNA Lic.) Prefer acute care or long-term care
