Registered Nurse - Emergency Room (ER RN)
Employment Type: Travel Nursing
Schedule: Sunday through Saturday, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Shift Duration: 12-hour nights
Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,980 - $2,080
Registered Nurse Requirements
- Active multi-state or Oklahoma Registered Nurse license
- Completion of an approved nursing program leading to a diploma or degree
- Epic experience required
- Working knowledge of disease state management, bio-psychosocial care, and clinical pathways
- Ability to organize, prioritize, and remain detail-oriented in a busy emergency department environment
- Emergency care experience and familiarity with pediatric emergency certifications such as ENPC and TNCC are highly valued
Emergency Room Nurse Responsibilities
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for assigned patients
Develop individualized plans of care based on patient needs and unit guidelines
Deliver safe, efficient nursing care while considering cultural, psychosocial, and age-related factors
Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and thoroughly in Epic
Communicate clearly with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary care team
Support patient education, discharge planning, and timely referrals
Contribute to quality improvement, unit education, and professional development activities
Maintain strong clinical judgment, professionalism, and teamwork in a high-acuity emergency setting
