Material HandlerThe Material Handler stores, ships, receives, and replenishes finished goods to fire sprinkler contractors by parcel, LTL, truckload, and/or private carrierKey ResponsibilitiesResponsible for processing customer orders and filling distribution centersCompiles, organizes, and prepares all orders as directed from the Shipping SupervisorOperates a handheld scanner to scan barcodes and delivers materials to their target locationOperates forklift, lift truck, side loaders, pallet trucks, picker and other loading/stacking equipmentResponsible daily inspection of forkliftsPerforms on-spot checkingMaintains and organizes warehouse storage including pallet consolidation and cleanliness of aislesPromote a safe workplace by performing all tasks in a safe and thoughtful manner in compliance with all rules, procedures, instructions, devices, equipment and use of appropriate personal protective equipment.
