Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers to optimize cost and quality.

Identify and qualify new suppliers, fostering strong relationships to ensure a reliable supply chain.

Manage inventory levels to prevent stockouts and minimize carrying costs, utilizing forecasting tools.

Analyze market trends and supplier performance to inform purchasing strategies and mitigate risks.

Collaborate with engineering and production teams to ensure material specifications meet manufacturing requirements.

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

• 3+ years of experience in a purchasing or buyer role within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of MRP/ERP systems and procurement best practices.
• Experience with technical specifications, blueprints, and quality standards for manufactured goods.

Bonus Qualifications

APICS or other supply chain certification

SAP, Oracle, NetSuite)

Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, Tableau)

Multilingual, particularly in languages relevant to the supply chain

Purchasing Agent, Procurement Specialist, Sourcing Manager, Supply Chain Analyst, Category Manager, Junior Buyer, Senior Buyer, Procurement Officer, Materials Buyer, Inventory Buyer
