JOB TITLE: Electronics EngineerLOCATION: Irvine, CAPAY RATE: $100,000-149,000/yearWe are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.Job Details:Job Type: Contract (Full Time)Clearance: Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance.Industry: Aerospace / Defense / AviationBenefits: Medical, dental, and vision (Cigna)Perks: Bonus potential + Priority access via Tier 1 supplierOpenings Nationwide: S. citizen and able to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance?Can you commute to the job location or relocate if necessary?Summary:Participates in the full PCB design cycle including schematic design, component selection, supervision or completion of layout, bring-up, functional verification, and performance testing.Designs, develops, integrates, and debugs avionics systems and subsystems for aircraft and launcher electrical systems.Applies knowledge of analog, mixed-signal, and digital circuits and components for system integration.Uses common test equipment and CAD tools such as Altium for design and validation.Works with microcontrollers, common serial interfaces, and firmware or software integration.Applies familiarity with MIL-spec hardware and harnessing for aerospace systems.Requirements:Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance.Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.3 to 5+ years of relevant industry experience in electronics design and development.Proven experience designing electronics from concept to functional prototype, including hardware selection, documentation, and troubleshooting.Knowledge of analog, mixed-signal, and digital circuits and components.Competence with common test equipment and CAD tools such as Altium.Preferred: Experience designing electronics for robotic and aircraft systems.Preferred: Hands-on experience with microcontrollers, serial interfaces, and firmware or software integration.About Us:The Structures Company is a premier national aerospace and defense staffing agency specializing in contract, contract-to-hire, and direct hire placements.
