Rebound Physical Therapy is actively seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our team in Riverview, Florida. Located onsite at a bustling hospital facility in Riverview, our clinic operates in a collaborative and dynamic environment. As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will work alongside a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, and Speech-Language Pathologists. Our facility is equipped with advanced treatment modalities, providing you the tools necessary to help our patients achieve their rehabilitation goals.

Assist licensed Physical Therapists in implementing customized treatment plans that focus on enhancing patients' mobility and functionality.

Administer therapeutic modalities such as electrical stimulation, ultrasound, and heat/cold therapy under supervision and guidance.

Organize and prepare treatment areas and ensure equipment is functional and readily available for therapy sessions.

Provide motivational support to patients throughout their rehabilitation journeys, fostering a positive and encouraging environment.

In this role, you will engage with a diverse patient population, ranging from pediatric to geriatric, and including individuals recovering from surgery, athletes needing sports rehabilitation, and patients with chronic conditions. Your work will significantly impact their recovery trajectory and overall health, allowing you to witness firsthand how therapeutic interventions contribute to improved quality of life.

Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.

Valid state license or certification to practice as a Physical Therapist Assistant.

Strong foundation in anatomy, physiology, and therapeutic interventions as they pertain to physical therapy practice.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively connect with patients and collaborate with the healthcare team.

A patient-centered and empathetic approach to care, demonstrating an authentic commitment to helping individuals achieve their rehabilitation goals.

A proactive attitude towards continued education and staying updated on best practices in physical therapy.

Experience in a clinical setting, particularly in outpatient rehabilitation.

Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems and the ability to navigate patient management software.

Background in specialized rehabilitation fields, such as sports therapy or geriatrics, is a plus.
