Key Responsibilities of the RN - PCU

Deliver essential nursing functions with a strong emphasis on patient relationships
Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team
Provide advanced care including management of central lines, wound care, and cardiac monitoring
Administer and monitor IV medication such as cardiac gtt
Assist with patient assessments and interventions as needed

Requirements of the RN - PCU

Valid RN license with BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
A minimum of 18 months of PCU experience
Ability to interpret cardiac rhythms and manage tracheostomies
Experience with EPIC, Alaris, and Phillips telemetry systems
