This position is the main client contact and director of all aspects of the project responsible for managing a team of architects to ensure projects are completed on time and to specifications by delegating work and assignments to team members based on expertise, work experience, and project time constraints. We work with a variety of clients to create aesthetically pleasing, functional, and sustainable spaces for a broad range of projects in healthcare, education, civic, mixed-use, commercial, residential, retail and more.

Background in architecture and experience in project management with technical proficiency to create and develop detailed construction documents applying their knowledge of and experience with building codes, building systems, conceptual design phase, schematic design phase, site planning, zoning, bid packages, submittals, fieldwork, project scheduling, budgeting, and cost estimating.

Lead project teams and oversee all management aspects of projects.
Identify project priorities through client collaboration to determine needs versus desires.
Review compliance with building codes and ADA requirements.
Direct, supervise, and confirm activities of project team engaged in preparing drawings and specification documents for the Conceptual Design Phase, Schematic Design Phase, and/or the Detailed Design Phase of projects.
Review and analyze construction drawing details for specifications.
Develop project schedules and cost projections.
Oversee and direct project bidding and budgeting processes.
Project documentation management of RFIs, change orders, and additional service requests.
Review conducted site planning and zoning research.
Collaborate with consultants and contractors.
Collaborate with marketing to create opportunity proposals.
Negotiate and execute project contracts using AIA Contract Documents or client service agreement.
Work Experience
Ten (10) or more years of related work experience.
Two (2) years or more of experience in a project management role.
Proficient in the use of Revit to effectively produce quality documents.
Experience working in Bluebeam to develop and detail construction documents.
Architectural license preferred or equivalent work experience.
Hybrid work format (3 days in office; 2 days remote).
Must be able to navigate project sites.
English language communication and client interface skills.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an NCARB accredited program.
