Registered Nurse (RN) - Day Shift
The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for maintaining the delivery of quality care by ensuring that the nursing care plan is followed. This role includes supervising Licensed Practical Nurses, Certified Nursing Assistants, and orientees. The RN plays a critical part in patient care, emphasizing patient safety and effective communication within the healthcare team.
Perform nursing assessments on all patients within 8 hours of admission.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all assessments, interventions, and patient responses in the medical record.
Participate in patient rehabilitation programs and deliver direct patient care based on identified healthcare needs.
Communicate changes in patient status to support continuity of care and patient safety.
Provide direction and supervision to ancillary nursing personnel while effectively managing time and resources.
Contribute positively to unit functioning by fostering a supportive team environment.
BLS Certification required prior to first shift.
ACLS certification required prior to first shift (for specific locations).
This position is for Day Shift, working 3x12 hour shifts.
