OB/GYN Ultrasound Sonographer

We're hiring now for an anticipated January 2027 start date or earlier depending on active staffing with a sign-on bonus available for eligible new hires. Be part of a fresh, growing team from day one in our brand-new building!Perform Diagnostic Ultrasound Exams: Conduct abdominal, obstetric, gynecologic, vascular, or other specialized ultrasound scans according to physician orders and departmental protocols.Operate Ultrasound Equipment: Adjust settings, capture images, and ensure equipment is functioning safely and effectively.Evaluate Image Quality: Review images for diagnostic adequacy and identify anatomical structures, abnormalities, or technical issues.Document procedures, patient data, and preliminary technical impressions in the imaging system or EMR.Collaborate With Healthcare Providers: Work closely with radiologists, physicians, and other clinical staff to support appropriate patient care.Ensure Safety and Compliance: Follow infection control protocols, patient confidentiality standards (HIPAA), and ultrasound safety guidelines.Maintains strict confidentiality in alignment with HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability) guidelines and InterMed policies.Mission and Values:Follows InterMed's mission to provide patient-centered primary care, putting the patient first to deliver high quality, high value care.Provide the highest quality care to our patients with a level of service that exceeds their expectations.Make teamwork a core component of our relationships between physicians, staff, and patients.Embrace change to better serve our patients.Use business practices that feature individual accountability and group responsibility to ensure delivery of high value healthcare.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Education:High school diploma or equivalent requiredCompletion of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography programExperience:Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and sonographic principlesExcellent communication and patient-care skillsAbility to work independently and manage time efficientlyLicense/Certifications:ARDMS certification (or eligibility to be acquired within 12 months of hire) required Abdomen, OB/GYN and RVT required, Breast preferredThe estimated compensation range is the budgeted amount for this position.
