This position is a hybrid role responsible for performing medical assistant duties and acquiring high-quality images that support an accurate diagnosis and treatment. This role is vital in ensuring patient safety and maintaining compliance with clinical and regulatory standards. The technician collaborates closely with providers, physician assistants, and clinical staff to optimize workflow and patient care in a fast-paced outpatient setting.

Obtain and document patient histories, vital signs, chief complaints.

Assist providers with the operation of the C-Arm for patient injections.

Operate digital radiography (DR) and picture archiving and communication system (PACS) equipment proficiently.

Verify patient identification and confirm physician orders before performing examinations.

Review and evaluate images for technical quality and diagnostic completeness before submitting to physicians or radiologists.

Maintain accurate patient and imaging documentation within the electronic health record (EHR) and PACS systems.

Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program

Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification (R).

Experience operation the C-Arm

Ability to lift and position patients and equipment (up to 50 lbs)

Exposure to bloodborne pathogens and surgical chemicals in accordance with OSHA Standards.
