The Role
A hands-on engineering role where you will:

Own a major mechanical subsystem end-to-end

Develop designs from concept through production hardware

Create CAD assemblies and manage integration interfaces

Perform structural, thermal, and fluid analysis (FEA + hand calc)

Select materials for pressure, corrosion, and reliability

Design for manufacturing with suppliers and internal teams

Build, test, and validate hardware in lab and field environments

The Essential Requirements

Strong mechanical engineering experience (5+ years preferred)

Deep expertise in one domain (propulsion, structures, etc.)

Strong CAD and design for manufacturing skills

Hands-on prototyping and testing experience

US Citizenship (clearance eligibility required)

What Will Make You Stand Out

Marine, aerospace, robotics, or defense systems experience

Experience with submerged or pressure-based systems

Full lifecycle product development experience
