About the Role

As a Respiratory Therapist at Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Sioux Falls, you will play a pivotal role in patient rehabilitation by delivering specialized respiratory care and supporting patients’ recovery and independence.

Responsibilities

Providing direct care to patients in need of medical gas and breathing therapy modalities.

Guiding patients by supervising care and breathing treatments, leading patient assessments, creating personalized care plans, and targeting and resolving patient concerns.

Building meaningful relationships with patients by dedicating time to understand their physical, mental, and emotional needs for a successful recovery.

Celebrating patient victories along the way.

Qualifications

CPR certification.

ACLS certification preferred.

Two years hospital experience in Respiratory Therapy preferred.
