Electrophysiology Registered Nurse (RN)We are seeking a skilled Electrophysiology Registered Nurse who will play a crucial role in supporting the electrophysiology device division within an outpatient cardiology setting. This position requires a strong understanding of electrophysiology and device management, as well as the ability to provide high-quality patient care.Key ResponsibilitiesUtilize MURJ for remote reports and alerts, providing efficient patient monitoring.Serve as a resource for the back office medical assistant team by addressing higher-level patient advice requests.Triage urgent patient symptoms effectively to ensure timely care.Supervise stress tests and assist in various consultation and follow-up procedures related to adult cardiac patients.QualificationsA minimum of 1 year of experience in a relevant nursing position is required; first-timers are welcome to apply.Experience in electrophysiology nursing and device management is highly preferred.Ability to work with adult cardiac patients in an outpatient setting.Previous charge experience is a plus.Desired SkillsProficiency in activated clotting time (ACT) monitoring, antiarrhythmics, and antihypertensives.Experienced in cardioversion and administering emergency medications.Knowledge of radiation and laser safety protocols.Adept at starting and maintaining IVs.Work EnvironmentThis position involves working within an ambulatory cardiology office dedicated to adult cardiac patients.
