TravelNurseSource is working with Concentric Healthcare Staffing to find a qualified Med/Surg RN in Roswell, New Mexico, 88201!

Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical Surgical, Nights
Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Every Other Weekend Required | Onsite
Provide direct patient care on a 36-bed general Medical Surgical unit with a patient ratio of 1:6 (occasionally 1:7)
Care for post-operative orthopedic and general surgery patients within the scope of a general Med Surg unit
Float as needed, with occasional assignments to the ICU to manage step-down or Med Surg overflow patients
Utilize Cerner EMR and Mindray Telemetry System to document and monitor patient care
Adhere to unit protocols, scrub color requirements (Royal Blue), and facility compliance standards
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in New Mexico or compact state eligibility
Minimum 1 year of Medical Surgical nursing experience
Ability to complete New Mexico state fingerprinting requirements prior to start (note: this process may take several weeks; Willingness to float as needed and work every other weekend
Prior experience with Cerner EMR and/or Mindray Telemetry systems
Experience with step-down or ICU overflow patient populations
Immediate start available with a 13-week contract and no on-call requirement
Block scheduling and 48-hour guarantee accommodations may be available when noted at time of submittal
