Stay in compliance with all Plant policies and safety procedures
Ensure products are properly stacked in warehouse
Supply required packaging materials for assigned production line
Prepare each morning production line - assure inventory needs for the production run
Prepare end of run - manage unused materials by properly labeling and storing for future use
Operate forklift in a safe and proper manner
Perform minimum maintenance daily on forklift and complete daily inspection log
Load and unload freight trucks as needed
Safely handle raw materials, packaging items, and finished product to and from warehouses and production facilities
Monitor inventory quantities (e.g., ensure older materials are used before new materials)
Maintain organized warehouse when delivering finished product in accordance with warehouse manager specifications
Maintain good housekeeping in work area
Assist plant personnel in identifying ways to eliminate waste and inefficiency
High school diploma, GED; Mechanical aptitude
Ability to read, write and understand the English language
Ability to pass a written forklift operator examination and skill test

Ability to work flexible hours to satisfy customer requirements
