• n \n As a Security Officer Part Time Badge Issuance in Charleston, SC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As a Part-Time Security Officer, you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a chemical/petrochemical location, where you will manage entry points, verify credentials, maintain accurate visitor and badge records, and monitor access activity. You will help maintain a secure environment through professional communication, exceptional customer service, and a visible presence that helps deter incidents. • n \n Position Type: Part Time
• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a chemical and petrochemical location. \Monitor and control access to the facility, verify credentials, maintain visitor and contractor entry records, and communicate access concerns to site contacts. \Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific protocols. \Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned access points, buildings, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual conditions and help to deter unauthorized access. \Prepare clear, accurate reports related to visitor activity, access-control events, incidents, and observed conditions. \Have at least one year of security-related experience. \Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. \Customer service experience is preferred. \Access control and badge experience is preferred. \Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. \As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. \Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. \Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. \Smart Tools: Access to our exclusive technology to view and claim additional shifts to earn more. \Career Growth: Get paid training and access to career growth opportunities. \Financial Benefits: Participate in our retirement savings plan to invest in your future. \Enjoy discounts on top brands and services through our Perks Program. \Health insurance and 401k plans for full-time positions \n
