Electronics Calibrator

We are looking for a positive, energetic instrument technician with a wide variety of abilities to complement our experienced workforce. Calibrate, troubleshoot, repair, and replace process instruments as a part of the facility’s maintenance program

Maintain process instruments including valves, vibration monitors and other instruments

Pressure test pneumatic instruments for leaks, pneumatic instruments with controllers, transducers, and valves in service

Conduct instrumentation evaluation and troubleshooting for electrical, pneumatic, electronic as well as programmable logic control (PLC) systems

Involve in evaluation of instrument performance to identify optimization and enhancement opportunities

Loop check electrical wiring for continuity and proper termination

Perform field calibration of electronic instruments with transmitters, controllers, transducers, valves, and recorders in service

Knowledgeable in the use of electrical equipment testers including V.AMP meter and 1000-volt insulation tester

Knowledgeable in communication and applicable electrical OSHA rules and regulations

Ability to meet the cut score on the National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER) Written Skill Assessment
