Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg position requiring a compact or Iowa RN license and prior deep cardiac and cardiac drips experience.
Details

• Med/Surg unit within a hospital setting
• 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM on a 36 or 48 hour weekly schedule
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call requirements
• May be required to float within the same discipline across local campuses
• Uses Cerner EMR

Requirements
Active IA or compact RN license required
Current BLS certification required
Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
Deep cardiac experience required
Cardiac drips experience required
Mandatory reporter certification required
One supervisory performance evaluation or reference from within the last 2 years of employment required
Driver's license required for consideration
Additional Information
Contribute professional and clinical knowledge and skills as part of an interdisciplinary care team
Provide and manage patient care across the Med/Surg unit
First-time travelers are welcome to apply
Holiday coverage required, with travelers expected to work 2 of 3 winter holidays (Christmas, New Year's, or Thanksgiving)
Limited to 1 day off request during the periods of 11/26-11/30 and 12/23-1/2, regardless of holidays worked
