Sr. Java Developer - (React)Duration: 6 Months CTHLocation: Plano, TX 75024This is a W2 position that requires candidates to be onsite for 3 days in a week (Hybrid role).Job description:Expert in Java J2EE and design technique as well as experience working across large environments with multiple operating systems or infrastructure for large-scale programs (e.g., Expert Engineers) starting to be firm-wide resources working on projects across clientIs multi-skilled with expertise across software development lifecycle and toolsetMay be recognized as a leader in Agile and cultivating teams working in Agile frameworksSought out as coach for at least one technical skillStrong understanding of techniques such as Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery, Test Driven Development, Cloud Development, resiliency, securityStays abreast of cutting edge technologies or trends and uses experience to influence application of those technologies or trends to support the business; may give speeches and outside the firm, writes articlesThis role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:Expertise in application, data and infrastructure architecture disciplinesAdvanced knowledge of architecture, design and business processesExperience designing software solutions to solve complex problems, including hands-on programming in Java, Spring, and/or C++Ability to work collaboratively in teams and develop meaningful relationships to achieve common goals6 to 8 years of hands-on software engineering experienceIn depth knowledge of Proxies, web servers e.g., NGINX, HA Proxy etc.Understanding of container platforms such as Docker and Kubernetes.Experience with Cloud and cloud technologies e.g., AWS, AWS API Gateway, Spring CloudExperience working with API Gateways: Apigee, Kong, AWS API Gateway etc.Experience in development or support of REST API interfaces (Spring Boot, GRPC, Swagger, Flask), SQL and No-SQL DBs (specifically with Cassandra).Extensive experience in providing solutions involving software and infrastructure engineering skills for metrics and event collection or correlation across distributed architectures, automation, monitoring, intelligent alerting.Experience with tuning high-volume applications.
