Restaurant Dishwasher- Night Shift

DishwasherThe Dishwasher is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of all glassware, tableware, and cooking utensils/vessels; sets-up, maintains, and breaks-down the dish machine area following Ruby Tuesday procedures and safety and sanitation requirements.Essential duties and responsibilities include:Loads, runs and unloads the dish machine following Ruby Tuesday proceduresKeeps the dish machine clean and reports any functional or mechanical problems immediatelyWashes and stores all tableware and kitchenware. Maintains adequate levels of clean tableware for dining room and kitchenKeeps dish area clean and organizedBags and hauls dish room trash to dumpster at designed timesMaintains adequate levels of dish detergents and cleaning suppliesCleans and maintains the cleanliness of carpeted and non-carpeted floors according to Ruby Tuesday standards and proceduresMaintains clean, stocked, and sanitary restrooms through regular restroom checksCleans, rolls, and unrolls kitchen matsSweep up trash around exterior of restaurant. Deck scrub walk ways and back dock areaResponsible for the set-up, cleanliness, and organization of the work area before, during, and after every shiftFollows HOH Cleaning Program and AM Utility ProgramsMay assist in cleaning and preparing foods for cooking as directedOther responsibilities as assignedQualifications include:Must be 18 years oldHigh School Diploma or High School equivalency preferredAble to lift and carry up to 70lbs, up to 20 times per shift; places these items on high shelves and in walk-in freezerAbility to stand 100% of shiftWorks frequently in damp, hot work environmentMay use slicers or other kitchen machineryAble to hold items with hands (knives, pans) for extended periods of time, with up to 5 lbs. of weightAble to work flexible shift including nights, weekends, and holidaysPhysical requirements include:Regular attendanceAbility to stand or walk for hours at a timeFrequently required to hear, speak, walk, crawl, climb, stand, reach, bend, balance, kneel, stoop, lift and carry items up to 70 lbsAbility to tolerate significant changes in temperature, and frequent immersion of hands in water and cleaning or sanitizing solutionsSpecific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
