ARMStaffing is seeking a travel Respiratory Therapist for a travel job in Youngstown, Ohio.

Respiratory Therapist

This is a 13-week contract position.

Night shift: 3x12.The Respiratory Therapist provides quality patient care, delivering intensive respiratory care and patient transport as medically prescribed. Conduct routine and physician-prescribed treatments using various ventilatory equipment, oxygen, and nebulizer devices.

Perform chest physiotherapy and suctioning by various methods as required.

Monitor oximetry and capnography based on policy.

Conduct pulmonary function studies following established policies.

Assist with procedures related to respiratory care according to policy.

Provide tracheostomy care, including insertion and removal of tubes as needed.

Follow all laboratory testing policies, including specimen handling and quality control.

Set up and maintain mechanical ventilation equipment; Document treatments and patient responses accurately.

Communicate effectively with the healthcare team and report necessary information during shifts.

Candidate must possess relevant licensure and certifications necessary for the role of Respiratory Therapist.
