RN will provide advanced critical care to patients in the intensive care unit, ensuring they receive comprehensive, high-quality treatment during their stay. This role requires flexibility in shift work and the ability to float within scope to meet unit needs.
Deliver expert nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU, monitoring vital signs and managing complex medical conditions.
Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed by physicians.
Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
Document patient progress, responses to treatments, and clinical observations accurately in electronic health records.
Respond swiftly to emergencies, providing life-saving interventions as needed.
Hold an active South Carolina or Compact RN license prior to start date.
Possess at least 2 years of recent ICU and/or Stepdown nursing experience.
Be able to float within scope to meet facility needs and handle high-acuity patients.
Be willing to work night shifts, including holiday rotation, with a 1:4 weekend ratio.
