Full Time Mental Health Nurse

South County Mental Health Center, Inc. is a private, non-profit Joint Commission Accredited Behavioral Healthcare provider located in South East Palm Beach County, Florida. Situated in the nationally designated city of Delray Beach, the Center provides a broad spectrum of inpatient and outpatient care to clients and their families in surrounding communities.
Provides in-patient psychiatric nursing care to all clients in crisis with the goal of stabilization.
Lead Hygiene HIV/AIDS Nutrition Substance Abuse Groups, etc.
Answering questions from families and involve families in treatment when feasible, and promote wellness within the family unit.
Complete nursing physical assessment on each client.
One-to-one care, as indicated.
Place client on 24 hour nursing precautions, as needed.
Draw blood and/or collect other laboratory specimen samples.
Minor wound care as indicated.
Assess clients' somatic complaints.
Evaluate medical emergencies
Admit clients to CSU Administrative admission.
Monitor client charts for doctors' orders and accuracy reviews.
RN Licensed in Florida

• risk of addiction, blood borne pathogens, OSHA Standards.
• 1 year experience in Psychiatric/Mental Health
