Mammographer (full time or part time)

Summary The Mammographer obtains and enters patient history into the record keeping system for mammography. Has knowledge of the software being used, able to perform quality control and document on appropriate forms.
Communicates with the Radiologist pertinent information regarding patient's exams.
Works with Radiologist to obtain recommended views for patients called back.
Assists Radiologist during breast procedures.
Maintains personnel documentation of continuing experience and continuing education to assure compliance with Mammography Quality Standards Act (MQSA).
Knowledgeable of software used for mammography which includes the manager, technologist work station, Radiologist secure view monitors, and Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS).

Language Requirements This position requires proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English to ensure effective communication in the workplace and with patients, families, and team members.
