URGENT Registered Nurse Position - Cardiac

Travel Registered Nurse (RN) Cvor

Schedule: Shift pattern: 2x8 / 2x12 (schedule will include a mix of 8- and 12-hour shifts) Typical hours: shifts scheduled between 6:30 AM and 11:00 PM (call required)

Requirements: 2+ years experience in cardiac, vascular, and transplant care Minimum 1 year CVOR experience Minimum 1 year experience in a Level I Trauma facility 3 years overall OR experience with 2 years dedicated cardiac and vascular Epic charting experience required Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, NIH/NIHSS (confirm prior to submission)

Roles & Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive nursing care in the CVOR setting for cardiac, vascular, and transplant patients. Collaborate with the surgical team and assist during procedures. Monitor patient status and respond to changes in condition during surgical interventions. Maintain accurate documentation and utilize electronic charting systems. Educate patients and families regarding preoperative and postoperative care. Participate in quality improvement initiatives within the surgical service area.

Compliance / Notes: Strict background check and compliance requirements must be followed. RTO (request time off) must be included with submission. Valid compact or state license required at the time of submission. Immediate availability for fingerprinting required.
