We’re looking for a seasoned Senior Physical Substation Engineer with extensive experience in high-voltage substation design (69kV–345kV). You’ll lead design efforts, guide project execution, and mentor junior engineers, all while collaborating closely with internal teams. This position is fully on-site and requires daily interaction with engineers, drafters, and project leads. Remote or hybrid work is not available

Lead the design of high-voltage substations, including layouts, equipment plans, grounding, conduit routing, and cable schedules.
Use Bluebeam Revu to create and review markups, working closely with drafting teams to maintain high standards.
Collaborate with internal teams (Protection & Control, Drafting, Project Management) to align efforts and meet deadlines.
Act as a technical resource, troubleshooting issues, performing QA/QC, and supporting junior engineers.
Contribute to project scoping, estimating, and proposal development as needed.
Travel up to 25% may be required.
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Civil, or Mechanical Engineering.
Proven ability to manage scope independently and deliver high-quality, constructible designs on time.
