What You’ll Do

As a Hospice Admissions RN, you play a critical role in guiding patients and families through the start of their hospice journey:

Conduct pre-admission evaluations to determine eligibility and appropriateness of care

Educate patients and families about hospice services with compassion and clarity

Obtain informed consent and initiate the admission process

Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and develop individualized care plans

Deliver interventions that maximize comfort, dignity, and quality of life

What You Bring

Graduate of an accredited RN program

Active Registered Nurse license in the state of practice

Current CPR certification

Hospice experience (preferred, not required)

Strong clinical judgment and ability to work independently

Compassionate communication skills with patients, families, and care teams

Understanding of quality assurance and patient care standards
