Job Description Summary Organization's Summary Statement: The Regulated Waste Manager will be responsible for the daily management and coordination of all regulated waste programs within the University as well as the daily management of operations at the University’s Treatment, Storage and Disposal Facility (Bldg. #The primary responsibility of the position is to provide daily program management and direct staff in compliance with the University's various campus-wide regulatory waste permits and related regulations and guidance under the Maryland Department of the Environment, and the U.Environmental Protection Agency.
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university. Other: Additional work experience as defined above may be substituted on a year-for-year basis for up to four (4) years of the required education.
Knowledge of office productivity software such as Microsoft Office 365 and Google Workspace.
Skill in leading presentations and conducting training sessions for large groups.
Skill in coaching and mentoring team members to enhance performance, provide constructive feedback, and support professional development.
Ability to define deadlines, manage workloads, and maintain quality standards for deliverables.
