Line Cooks Dinner Shift

The Madison Concourse Hotel is looking for a skilled and dependable PM Line Cook
to join our culinary team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys
working evening service, takes pride in preparing high-quality food, and works
well as part of a busy, professional kitchen.

The ideal candidate has previous line cook experience, strong attention to
detail, and the ability to stay organized and focused during fast-paced service.
Prior experience in a hotel, upscale restaurant, banquet, or high-volume kitchen
is preferred.

Status: Full Time
Typical Hours: 2:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m., with flexibility to work weekends and
holidays
Pay: Starting at $21 per hour, based on experience

What You’ll Do

* Prepare, cook, and plate menu items according to recipes, presentation
standards, and guest expectations.

• Maintain consistency in flavor, quality, portioning, and presentation.
• Work closely with the culinary team to support smooth and timely service

during busy periods.

• Set up, stock, and maintain the line before, during, and after service.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, cleanliness, and storage standards.
• Assist with product rotation, freshness checks, inventory needs, and special

dietary requests.

• Keep work areas clean, organized, and ready for the next shift.
• Communicate professionally with cooks, chefs, stewards, and service team

members.

Qualifications

• Previous line cook experience required.
• Hotel, upscale dining, banquet, or high-volume kitchen experience preferred.
• Strong culinary skills and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
• Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced kitchen.
• Ability to communicate well and work as part of a team.
• Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Culinary education is a plus, but not required.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and work on your feet for extended periods.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Comfortable working in a hot, fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Ability to bend, reach, move quickly, and safely perform kitchen duties

during service.
