Registered Nurse - Telemetry/MedSurg - Weekend Nights

Neuro/Stroke MedSurg Traveler12-hour night shifts, with options for 36 or 48 hours per week.Contract length: 13–20 weeks. Patient ratios are 1:6 for day, night, and weekend shifts.Minimum 2 years total nursing experience with at least 1 year in Med/Surg.At least 2 successful travel contracts required; first-time travelers not accepted.Valid nursing license in NC or Compact State.Certification: BCLS (BLS) required; NIHSS certification required; ACLS preferred but not required.Experience with MedSurg neuro patients and telemetry care, including IV starts and dysrhythmia management.Must pass EKG testing prior to start.Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients with neuro and stroke-related conditions.Monitor and assess patient's conditions, vital signs, and respond to changes.Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the healthcare provider.Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes.Document all patient care activities and responses in the electronic medical record.Assist with care procedures such as feeding tube maintenance and central line management.Flu vaccine required. COVID-19 vaccine not required. Must work 2 of 3 major holidays. Time-off and call-out policies apply — specific guidelines provided upon hiring.
