We are looking for the right person to join our team as an Estimator. An Estimator in our Resource Group prepares budgets, estimates, and pre-bid packages for construction projects to be built for our lifelong clients.
Properly evaluate drawings, specs, and other bid documents for all involved scope
Conduct site visits, pre-bid meetings, and perform detailed scope evaluations for all trade work
Use multiple software systems and web applications for estimating and bid letting
Write up project scope narratives in proposal format that is easily understood
Review bids with others for thoroughness and participate in project hand-off meetings
Represents the Company, at all times, with professionalism and a commitment to quality
Computer Equipment and Software Requirements
Bluebeam (or similar) PDF viewer/takeoff software
Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
HCSS HeavyBid (or similar) estimating software
Agtek (or similar) earthwork takeoff software
Primavera P6 (or similar) scheduling software
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
Minimum of 3-5 years engineering, estimating, or similar experience with mass earthwork, underground utilities, water/wastewater treatment plants, or exposed piping.
