The Recruiter assists the Human Resources Department in the function of attracting top talent across Crane Aerospace & Electronics sites. To perform this job successfully, an individual will partner with the HR Business Partners and the hiring managers to complete the full lifecycle of the employment process which includes recruiting, screening, interviewing, and closing the candidate.
Source, recruit, interview, and screen candidates for a wide range of positions, with emphasis on production and manufacturing roles.
Represent the company at college, community, and industry career fairs to build strong pipelines for entry?level, skilled trades, and internship opportunities.
Leverage multiple recruiting channels (online platforms, community partnerships, outreach events, referrals) to attract a diverse pool of qualified candidates.
Proactively engage and follow up with potential candidates to align talent with current and future hiring needs.
Perform additional duties and support recruiting initiatives as assigned by leadership.
Experience: 2-4 years of recruiting related recruiting experience in a high volume, high growth environment. Experience working face to face with directors and managers, providing guidance, and direction to ensure a great experience for candidates and hiring teams.
Ability to successfully assess the candidates' potential and articulate skill set to hiring managers.
Knowledge of and ability to use applicant tracking systems.
Education/Certification: High School Diploma or equivalent
Eligibility Requirement: This position may require access to Controlled Data or Information. As a US Department of Defense contractor, we are bound by International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
Recruiting in the Aerospace & Defense or other relevant manufacturing industry
HR Certification from an accredited source
Bachelor's degree
Standard office environment
Work requires substantial visual concentration on detail
Manufacturing operations may require the use of safety equipment to include but not limited to: eye safety glasses, gowning, masks, hearing protectors, heel/wrist straps and any other required PPE
May be exposed to unusual environmental conditions such as loud noises, cold temperatures, confined spaces, dust or fumes
