Veterinarian - General Practice (Surgery)
Aspcapro
Who we are: Have you ever wondered what happens to cats and dogs whose owners are unable to afford veterinary care? The ASPCA’s Community Medicine (CM) team provides expert veterinary care to support the welfare of animals and their people through our stationary and mobile veterinary clinics, serving the most underserved communities in New York, Miami, and Los Angeles. CM helps pet owners overcome barriers to care, bringing quality services directly to the communities that need us most and partially or fully subsidizing the cost of basic and preventive care. CM treats people and pets with dignity and respect, assisting pet owners in making informed decisions about their pets’ health and wellbeing regardless of their financial circumstances. When you work at the ASPCA, you join a team of over 1,000 dedicated colleagues with deep knowledge, skills, and passion for the animals we serve.
Help animals in need. Our highly skilled veterinarians, along with support from licensed technicians and assistants, provide essential services to the pets and rescue animals that need us most. CM’s team of medical professionals sees over 100,000 animals every year and there are many more that need our help. You won’t worry about the cost of services to your clients, experience minimal paperwork, and can focus on patient care, with opportunities for mentorship and training in high-quality, high-volume spay/neuter. Positions are on-site primarily based at the South Los Angeles Stationary Clinic, the Carson Community Veterinary Clinic, or ASPCA Mobile Clinics throughout the Greater Los Angeles Area and require occasional flexibility in reporting location.
