RN - Cath Lab

Shift: Day 4x10-Hour (07:00-17:30)

Call required 6-9 days of call per month

36-hours, 4-9 hour days, with 24-hour on-call

Cath lab is open 24/7 for cardiac emergencies

M-F call is from 5:15 pm - 7 am, weekend call is 24 hours each day

Cath Lab Experience required

The Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Suite is located on East Tower 10. There are two cardiac catheterization laboratories. The labs operate Monday through Friday 7 am through 5:15 pm but are available for emergency cardiac procedures 24/7. The labs perform multiple invasive cardiac and peripheral procedures in the adult population including diagnostic and interventional cardiac and peripheral catheterizations, stent implants, IABP, Impella, EKOS, Rotablator, IVUS, FFR, Penumbra, Pericardiocentesis, Shockwave, and IVC filters. All TEEs and Cardioversions are also performed in the department. We perform TAVRs and MitraClips in conjunction with the hybrid OR. The most frequent medical diagnoses include Coronary Artery Disease, Myocardial Infarction, Unstable Angina, Aortic/Mitral Valve Disease, and Peripheral Vascular Disease.
