Loss Prevention Attendant (Overnights)

The Loss Prevention Officer is responsible for maintaining the safety and security of hotel guests, team members, and property. This role provides a visible security presence, monitors hotel activity, responds to incidents and emergencies, and enforces hotel safety and security policies. The Loss Prevention Officer plays a critical role in protecting assets and ensuring a safe, welcoming environment within a full-service hotel.

Safety & Security Operations

Patrol hotel property, including guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces, to ensure safety and security.
Enforce hotel safety, security, and loss prevention policies and procedures.
Provide assistance during medical situations, evacuations, and fire alarms.
Document incidents accurately and prepare detailed reports.
Guest & Team Member Assistance
Provide directions and basic assistance as requested.
Monitoring & Surveillance
Monitor CCTV systems and security alarms as assigned.
Conduct routine inspections to identify hazards, suspicious activity, or policy violations.
Compliance & Risk Management
Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and emergency response protocols.
Assist with fire life safety procedures and emergency drills.
Support audits, inspections, and loss prevention initiatives.
Participate in training sessions and department meetings.

• Perform other duties as assigned to support hotel operations.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Previous security or loss prevention experience preferred.
Experience in hospitality, hotel, or service-oriented environments preferred.
Training in emergency response or safety procedures preferred.
Basic computer skills for reporting and documentation.
Ability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays.
