Laborer Skilled

Job Description:

• Communicates with others to perform the job tasks.
• Safely operates motor vehicle.
• Runs errands to support of the work site.
• Must be able to safely traverse uneven terrain with / without tools and building materials.
• Performs a variety of tasks involving safe dexterous use of hand tools.
• Manipulates and generally understands the safe use of different types of power and manual construction tools.
• Digs, spreads, and levels dirt and gravel, to fine grade specifications using hand tools.
• Breaks up and remove concrete with power equipment (jackhammer) and hand tools.
• Positions and operates portable and submersible water pumps.
• Cleans and sorts tools, equipment and materials.
• Stocks drinking water containers for the construction site personnel.
• Climbs vertical ladders in up to 25 - 30 foot sections, above/below ground elevation.
• Cleans and maintains the worksite and related areas such as parking lot and office. 14. Adheres to all safety procedures.
• Maybe assigned hole watch and/or firewatch duties.
