PRIMARY PURPOSE:

Under the direction of the campus principal and the registered nurse, assist with the implementation of a comprehensive program of health services for the assigned schools, including direct health services to students, being a health advocate for students and staff, and promoting health education and preventive health practices for students.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education/Certification: High school diploma or GED Special Knowledge/Skills: Effective communication and interpersonal skills Valid licensed vocational nurse license to practice nursing in Texas from the State Board of Nurse Examiners.
