We are a rapidly growing engineering consulting firm specializing in high-voltage power delivery infrastructure projects across the utility, renewable energy, and mission-critical/data center sectors. With a strong backlog of transmission and substation projects, they are focused on supporting grid modernization efforts and expanding reliable power infrastructure nationwide.
Develop engineering and design packages for high-voltage substation projects ranging from 12kV to 500kV
Support physical substation design including equipment layouts, grounding plans, conduit and cable routing, elevations, and section views
Prepare engineering calculations, specifications, and construction documentation
Coordinate with protection & controls, civil, structural, and transmission engineering teams
Support utility, renewable energy, battery storage, and data center power infrastructure projects
Review and apply utility standards, NEC, NESC, IEEE, and client-specific requirements
Participate in project meetings, scheduling, technical reviews, and client coordination
Assist with substation expansions, greenfield projects, and grid modernization initiatives
Provide technical support during construction and project execution phases

A successful Substation Engineer should have:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• 3+ years of substation engineering or power delivery experience
• Experience with utility, EPC, consulting engineering, or renewable energy projects
• Familiarity with AutoCAD, MicroStation, or substation design software
• Understanding of transmission/distribution systems and utility standards
• Competitive hourly pay ranging from $85 to $100 USD.
