Estimator Construction Management

We are seeking a strategic Estimator to join our Sacramento team- a detail-oriented professional who thrives on precision, collaboration and delivering impactful results. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical expertise with a deep understanding of public or private works construction. Success in this role requires the ability to develop accurate, competitive cost estimates while collaborating closely with internal teams, subcontractors and suppliers. This role offers the opportunity to influence project outcomes, support bid strategies and contribute to the successful delivery of a diverse portfolio of infrastructure projects.

Estimating & Cost Analysis
Review specifications, drawings, and project site conditions to develop accurate estimates.
Analyze and build estimate data related to labor, materials, equipment, location and other cost factors.
Utilize historical cost data as a benchmarking tool.
Bid Strategy & Competitive Analysis
Evaluate projects risks and develop strategies to mitigate potential construction challenges.
Communicate with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain pricing and scope details.

Communicate bid information and project scope to field operations during pre-construction meetings.
Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, construction management, or equivalent related work experience.

• 8 years of public or private estimating experience.
• Prior experieince as a Project Manager/Engineer and/or take-off, is a plus.
• Proficiency in HCSS HeavyBid, Primavera Scheduling software and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
