Registered Nurse - Stepdown Nights

Location: Oklahoma

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Night Shift: 3x12-Hour (18:30 - 07:00)

Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for a Stepdown unit to provide high-quality patient care during night shifts. The ideal candidate will have experience in an acute care environment and possess essential clinical skills for managing stepdown patients.

Responsibilities:

Monitor and assess patient conditions using telemetry and other diagnostic tools.

Administer medications and perform interventions as prescribed, including blood product administration and cardiac drips management.

Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.

Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding care and treatment options.

Document patient information accurately in the Epic charting system.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

Minimum of 1 year of experience in a stepdown or telemetry nursing role.

Valid Oklahoma RN license or Compact RN license.

BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications must be held at the time of submission.
