Job Summary Seeking a Senior Process Engineer to design, build, commission, and improve complex manufacturing equipment used to scale products from lab development into mass production. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with industrial machine design, electromechanical systems, precision machinery, SolidWorks, GD&T, and automation.
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop complex automated manufacturing machines and equipment.
Lead equipment design from requirements and concept development through design reviews and commissioning.
Improve equipment efficiency, process stability, reliability, tolerances, and automation.
Develop and maintain BOMs, specifications, CAD models, and engineering drawings.
Perform proof-of-concept testing, tolerance analysis, and root-cause investigations.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams and external vendors.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Engineering with 10+ years of industry experience.
Strong experience designing and building complex industrial machines.
Experience with electromechanical systems and/or precision machine design.
Strong knowledge of SolidWorks/PDM, GD&T, FMEA, and DFM.
Experience with sheet metal, machined parts, welded components, and manufacturing equipment.
Exposure to automation systems, PLCs, industrial sensors, control cabinets, data acquisition, and I/O systems.
Motion control, hydraulics, fluid/gas handling, vacuum systems, robotics, industrial automation, and rapid prototyping experience preferred.
