Key Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive dietary and nutritional services within an acute hospital setting
Assess, plan, and monitor patient nutritional needs with a focus on pediatric populations
Document assessments and care plans using Epic electronic health records
Float within the hospital or to affiliate hospitals nearby as needed
Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to support patient outcomes
Participate in required facility compliance modules completed prior to and during assignment
Required Qualifications
Active RD or RDN credential required (pending license considered; preference for license in hand — licensure takes approximately 10–12 weeks)
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Dietitian
First-time travelers accepted with at least 2 years of experience
Proficiency with Epic charting system
Must be willing to work 2 out of 3 major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's
Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible — no locals accepted
Preferred Experience / Skills
Pediatric (peds) clinical experience strongly preferred
Prior travel assignment experience in an acute hospital environment
Familiarity with Magnet facility standards and Level II Trauma center workflows
