Welder Pay & Skill Levels:Our welding positions are structured in three skill-based tiers, with starting pay determined by your qualifications and experience. This opportunity is available on day or night shift.Day shift: 6am-2:30pm, M-FNight shift: 2pm-12:30am, M-ThWelder I - $31.94 Day shift - $34.81 Night ShiftAbility to pass certification test when instructedAbility to weld small parts and simple weldments when instructedSafe operations of all welding equipment and proper use of all PPEWelding helmet, Safety glasses, Welding jacket and glovesCan weld using the GMAW processUtilize technology for processing jobs and communicationClocking, Inventory, Job CompletionAssist in training employees in the work center with current knowledge baseMandatory overtime when business conditions require itAdherence to the attendance policyAll other duties as requiredWelder II - $34.82 Day shift - $37.95 Night shiftAll duties required by Welder IThe ability to weld medium to complex parts using fixtures and jigsAbility to read prints with little or no assistanceCan diagnose and repair small weld/welder issuesCan meet standards set by estimated times on workordersAbility to assist and give directions when necessaryWelder III - $37.95 Day shift - $41.37 Night shiftAll duties required by Welder IICertified Welder for D1.1 Structural welding code steel and D1.3 Structural welding for sheet steel codeCan weld complex parts with little or no assistanceExcellent print reading skills.Ability to perform any welding process required (GMAW, GTAW, manual plasma cutter, oxyacetylene cuttingAbility to set the bar on clocking times for other weldersAbility to train new and upcoming welders and show them the quickest ways to be efficientGreat communications skillsAre you qualified?Experience: 2+ years of fabrication experience or training is preferred.Blueprint Reading: Proficiency in reading blueprints and using fixtures, jigs, clamps, and quality inspection tools is essential.Training: Completion of necessary training requirements provided by SRC.Safety Rail Company BENEFITS include:401K Retirement Savings Plan with company contribution and company profit sharing.Generous Paid Time Off for Holidays, Vacation and Sick TimeComprehensive Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance.
