Quality Engineer

Our client is seeking a Quality Engineer to support manufacturing quality, customer requirements, and continuous improvement within an automotive production environment.
Support APQP project teams for successful product launches

Serve as the customer liaison for quality-related concerns

Manage customer portals, scorecards, and improvement plans

Create and maintain control plans, inspection instructions, capability studies, and gage R&R documentation

Monitor production processes to ensure quality standards are met

Support supplier quality performance and corrective actions

Maintain compliance with QMS, IATF 16949, and customer-specific requirements

Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or 3+ years of relevant experience

Knowledge of quality standards and regulatory requirements

Strong communication and writing abilities

Microsoft Office and Outlook experience

Reports to the Quality Manager

Works closely with Production, Engineering, Maintenance, and Supply Chain

Interfaces with customers and suppliers on quality concerns
