License: Valid state license required.
Certifications: ACLS, AWHONN Advanced, BCLS, NRP.
Must-Have: Expert experience in performing sterile vaginal exams independently without supervision.
Description:
Labor and Delivery RN position available.
Candidates must meet AWHONN certification requirements.
Sterile vaginal exams and triage expertise are essential requirements.
Candidates must have the ability to perform sterile vaginal exams independently.
Epic experience is required.
Scheduling preferences may be considered, but not guaranteed.
Candidates must be open to working weekends, which may exceed every other weekend to meet unit needs.
Local candidates are encouraged to apply.
Patient ratios are 1:2 during day and night shifts.
Weekly time off requests must be included at submission.
Facility can call off once per two-week pay period.
All RNs are expected to float between all like units as needed.
Candidates should have experience with a wide range of labor and delivery procedures.
Required skills include but are not limited to: administration of blood products, amnioinfusion, antepartum care, and lactation support.
The unit provides interdisciplinary support including physical therapy and pharmacy services.
Position involves high-risk deliveries, triage, and monitoring of patient conditions.
Travelers are expected to comply with all facility requirements upon assignment.
