Provide assessment, diagnostic, treatment management, and education to students who present to Student Health Services. This is a 9 month full time academic year position.
Obtain history, assess, diagnose, treat, and educate students who present at the Student Health Center. Utilize laboratory services, in-office self-report screenings, x-ray, and other diagnostic tools in an appropriate and cost-effective manner. (Make referrals off campus, including urgent care, hospital emergency room, and specialists in the Providence community, as deemed necessary. (Maintain complete and accurate documentation on all student encounters, including phone calls, consultation with on and off-campus staff and medical providers, prescriptions, and laboratory results. Master's degree in nursing from an accredited institution
Three to five years experience as a Nurse Practitioner, with experience in college health or adolescent medicine preferred
Board certification as an adult or family Nurse Practitioner with prescriptive privileges
State licensure as a Nurse Practitioner
Basic knowledge of Medicat Electronic Health Record system.
